Is that Spring in the air?

The daffodils are blooming outside....and we are nursing bulbs & seeds already for our spring gardens. We are holding our breath for that "last chance of frost" so we can get everything outside & really growing!

We signed both the boys up for baseball on Saturday & are they ever excited! Austin will play T-ball & Blake will play in the 11/12 year old's - I think the majors is what it was called. Blake had tryouts last night & he did much better than I expected. I have to say you can see the excitement in Chad's eyes too! I am only hopeful that since we have a big yard we wont have many broken windows from all the practice :-)

Our little Jack is growing up quick....and really enjoying the warmer weather too.

With all the rain we have been having, it was time to go play in the mud!

Sheila's B-day & working outside!

Birthday girl!! Headed to B'ama for some real Mexican Food...

Ahhh, the cute couple!

Yes, they sang to me & I got to wear the lovely sombrero!

ahhh, Blakers.....

Chad's attempt at a self-portrait! Not too bad at all....

Oh I am just thinking about Chad farting on the cat...
That always gets a good laugh!

Whats wrong with this boy you ask?

Well, for starters, this is him's mom!
& this is what he has to live with!

We Men! We build Fire! Burn Kudzu!

We Proud our Fire! Fire! Fire!

Look how high up that smoke goes!! WOW!

I am proud to say that nothing was harmed in the making of this fire except a small burn on Chad's shirt & lots of Kudzu! They later found out that if they put bamboo in the fire it would make very loud popping noises that scare Sheila and sound like gunshots! They got lots of entertainment from that.

Every country yard must have a tire swing &
every hard working man must have a break!
Please swing me higher Chad Dad!Note the small Jack in this photo. He watched carefully and has learned to grab the rope with his teeth & swing the boys on the tire swing too! He will actually even swing the tire with no one in it for his own entertainment.
